Alaska offering elite status after one round-trip flight!

Have you ever walked by the first class cabin when boarding a flight and wondered what those people do for work that they can afford a first-class ticket? The truth is that very few of those first class passengers paid anything extra to sit there. Many probably paid less than you! They just fly frequently, so they have elite status with the airline. Now, you can too, after only one round-trip flight!

Alaska Airlines is currently offering MVP status to Utah residents who fly round-trip on any non-stop Alaska flight from SLC. This includes flights to Las Vegas, San Francisco, and San Jose that can sometimes cost as little as $90rt! Elite status grants you the chance at first-class upgrades on Alaska and Delta flights (though don’t hold your breath for an upgrade on Delta - you will be at the bottom of a very long list!). You will also get a 50% bonus on all mileage earned, two free bags on Alaska flights, one free bag on American flights, priority boarding and seating on Delta, Alaska, and American flights, and access to the first-class security line on Alaska and American flights.

All you have to do is register for the promotion at http://www.alaskaair.com/www2/Promo/Registration/PromoEntry.aspx?pid=AS1505 and fly a single round-trip ticket to Boise, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, or San Diego between February 15 and May 15. Your elite status will be granted within 4 weeks of this flight.

See you soon in first class!
